Russell Crowe will fight against the Roman Empire again in the movie 'The Last Druid', which will tell the story of an emperor who discovers an isolated druid fortress in the mountains of Caledonia. The film will be directed by American William Eubank, known for his work on 'Love' from 2011.
Currently, auditions are taking place for the film in which Crowe will play a peaceful elderly Celt who must take up arms to protect his family and people from annihilation. The screenplay was written by Eubank and Philip Gawthorne, and production will be handled by Ben Pugh, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and Fred Berger from Range Media Partners, and Adrián Guerra from Nostromo.
